General Anesthesia has been found increasingly useful in general dentistry, especi-ally with uncooperative patients and in pediatric practice. Uncooperative patients may be divided into two groups 1) Those patients who consciously withhold cooperation. and 2) those patients who are uncooperative due to some mental or physical disability
I, report here my experience in providing a suitable anesthetic service with Keta-mine HCl during the performance of total oral rehabilitation in a single session for 8 children.
Those patients were uncooperative due to mental retardation or cerebral palsy. Ketamine ICI proved to be safe and effective. Complications were minimal and could be controlled.
